Landscape wash en-plein-air
In this 10 minutes video, you will see how you can start painting outdoors directly with colours. When you are outside, concentrate on four main colours and the values. What I did here was looked at the city scape, saw houses like white dots, and a vast sweep of green and brown. To build up contrast, before the colours dried I started giving dark blue mixed with green blobs for the trees. So, always concentrate on the values (dark colours or light colours), it doenst really matter which colour you take, for small areas, as long as you are ensuring you pick up colours of the right value (i.e. for light, I would pick up yellow, light green, or ochre, or any light or warm colour). So, next, try to go outside, or take a screenshot of the landscape that I painted and try to do the same.In this 10 minutes video, you will see how you can start painting outdoors directly with colours. Just using green will not make it interesting, so first I gave a wash of yellow, and then I gave green.
